With the EMIR “YOUTHMAN” KOBILIC Riddim YU GO! turning into a world wide affair we’d like to introduce to you a country that over the last years developed a strong Dancehall movement regarding Sounds and also Artistes performing in their native language.

This being said we’re proud to announce the first official YU GO! single from Poland. It is featuring a young SingJay by the name of SZTOSS, who undoubtly has great songwriting talent and  a superb delivery. SZTOSS was born into a musical family in Lublin/Poland in 1991. In 2009 he started working seriously as a vocalist and song writer on his solo project. Since 2010 he’s supporting his brother TALLIB as a hypeman at concerts. His first solo project – an EP called “Rozgrzewka” – was released in 2011 and this EP was given to GERMAICA boss PIONEAR at the annual “Ostróda Reggae Festiwal” and he immediately saw the great potential of this young Artiste…

Now just half a year later SZTOSS’ debut on GERMAICA is finished… The single “Nic na siłe” is also the first shot on the forthcoming YU GO POLSKA! Riddim featuring the likes of MARIKA, JUNIOR STRESS, 27PABLO & MOTHASHIPP, CHEEBA (EASTWEST ROCKERS), BAS TAJPAN & BOB ONE and CHVAŚCIU (SILESIAN SOUND).

It’s obvious that there’s a new Dancehall star producer in the making… EMIR “YOUTHMAN” KOBILICs first release, the YU GO! RIDDIM took Europe by storm immediately and within weeks bootleg versions in all corners of the continent popped up, wheather in Italy, Spain or Bulgaria. So the idea was born to expand the riddim to the different territories and first up is our strongest sub division GERMAICA IBERIA with their cut of the YU GO! pie.

Already in February we released the pre single of the YU GO! IBERIA – ZURIs LA CUENTA ATRÁS which is a fine blend of classic Flamenco with YOUTHMANs hardcore Dancehall pattern and of course the Balkan flavoured sample from Bosnian 80s music. To prove even further how close the music styles of the BALKANS and IBERIA are IJAH & LITTLE PEPE with HASTA EL FONDO and SHABU with SOLO PARA MÍ  felt obviously inspired to deliver renditions to their Andalusian home turf with songs that could easily stand the test of any Flamenco expert.

RAPSUSKLEI, originating from Zaragoza, is a real Heavyweight in the Spanish Hip Hop circuit and delivers maybe the most astonishing track of the riddim with his Hater Anthem SHA-LA-LA. Next up is THEE spanish veteran MR. RANGO from Madrid with MR. MENTION. Representing the Basque country is Hardcore DeeJay NOVATO from Bilbao. Finally the new dogg on the GERMAICA IBERIA compound is Talaveran LASAI who lately moved to Madrid. He delivers a nice Ladies tune to round up this first official riddim release of our label…

”Balkan Dancehall” is the theme of the YU GO! RIDDIM as well as the TI-LI-BOOM single, on which JOEY FEVER pays tribute to his long time love, Balkan Roma music. ”Whether YU inna a kriss Mercedes Benz or drive a donkey carriage – when Puppa Fever deyah YU know seh me no care… When me grab the microphone me hypnotize the ladies!”

JOEY FEVER – born and raised in Stockholm/Sweden – has been active as a Reggae/Dancehall artist since the beginning of the millenium, working with different selectors and sound systems. Around 2006 he started focusing on his solo career. JOEY FEVER has released a series of singles on different labels. Some of his best know songs are SWEETNESS, TELL IT TO MY HEART, ME NUH FOLLOW DEM and the combination tune YOUNG GUNZ with Swedish Dancehall superstar MILLION STYLEZ. He has been touring around Europe reaching out to audiences in more than 10 different countries. Last year JOEY FEVER released his debut album IN A FEVER on Reggae legend TIPPA IRIEs label ”Lockdown Productions”.

In 2012 now he has teamed up with his good friend EMIR “YOUTHMAN” KOBILIC. YOUTHMAN who is concidered one of the rising stars among Swedish Producers and releasing his Riddims with GERMAICA DIGITAL. Now the German label is also taking care of JOEY FEVERs single and EP… YOUTHMAN has produced all six tracks on Joey’s upcoming EP and is also both singer and producer of his own group SANJIN & YOUTHMAN –  dropping their debut EP BALKAN DANCEHALL April 17.

TI-LI-BOOM is also the first single from JOEY FEVERs upcoming GOOD & SIMPLE EP to be released in May.

This Artiste was already voicing the first international GERMAICAN RECORDS Riddim BITCH back in 2000… Extraordinary skillz, a murder flow and catchy hook lines are the trade mark of Kingstonian DeeJay HAWKEYE.
