Ras Luta and Pionear started working together exactly 15 years ago in February 2005, when recording for Poland’s first ever Reggae & Dancehall compilation “Polski ogień”, released by Warner Music Polska the following year. Followed by productions for Luta’s band project “EastWest Rockers” and his first solo effort “Jeśli Słyszysz” the both coming full circle now with an entirely custom made album played by Pionear’s studio band The Germaicans. You might ask why a Reggae album now? Because it’s not so much about trends and number of streams, but rather about two stubborn musical friends paying tribute to “their” music!
The release’s lyrics shed light on observations and experiences made by Ras Luta when looking at his musical career and general life. Thus the overall impetus is that of a “grown up” classic Reggae album. The title track “Lepsze dni” , “Masz w sobie siłę ft. Junior Stress”, “Dom w chmurach” all are vivid testament to Luta’s love for Roots Reggae and prove his excellent songwriting. Still the album holds surprises, with trappy “Zimny kamień” and of course the niyahbinghi-r’n’b-power-ballad-hybrid “Szadrach, Meszach & Abednego” and it’s unique ‘spiritual’ feel.
The previously released singles “Stop”, “Rozdarty” carrying more of a pop song structure. The third single “Mój ogień” and “Jak na początku” are both relicks of Jamaican classic riddims. In case you wondered if there is an “off” track you should definitely check out the Two-Tone-Ska stomper “Szarzy ludzie”. Finally “Prosty rim” is not only a hommage to the glorious 90s in Dancehall music but also the new single which heralds the album release on February 21st 2020!
To seal what will be probably the most important Polish Reggae release of the year mastering was provided by platinum certified Sascha “Busy” Bühren (Peter Fox, Seeed) from Berlin / Germany.

Après „Nos coeurs sont liés“, découvrez le nouveau titre de Guive sur le label Germaïca France: „Hasard“. Guive nous livre un texte profond dans lequel il se questionne sur les synchronicités et les coïncidences que place la vie sur notre chemin et le sens qu’elles prennent dans notre histoire personnelle, affirmant ne plus croire au hasard… Cité par Reggae Vibes Magazine comme „un des chanteurs les plus talentueux du moment“, Guive est un chanteur / tromboniste dont les influences naviguent entre soul et reggae. Il est également le leader et fondateur du groupe Guive & the ORA.
“Hasard” fait partie du 2ème volet du projet porté par Germaica Digital qui a décidé d’étendre son activité de production d’artistes Reggae à travers une partie de l’Europe et notamment la France. Tout comme la précédente sur le „Warm up riddim“, cette nouvelle série produite par Pionear & Fabi Benz sur le „Bridge riddim“, interprété par The Germaicans, regroupe plusieurs artistes européens dont Guive pour la France, Ras Luta pour la Pologne, Meli & Adi Amati pour l’Allemagne et Andy Mittoo pour l’Italie. C’est d’ailleurs à ce dernier que l’on doit le nom de ce nouveau riddim puisque son titre „Lì c’era un ponte“ rend hommage à la ville de Gênes et de ses habitants suite au drame provoqué par l’effondrement du pont en août 2018.

Fuori il brano che ho scritto sulla vicenda del crollo del Ponte Morandi di Genova, la mia città. Si intitola „Lì c’era un ponte”. Siamo molto felici della buona riuscita di questo progetto perché ci abbiamo messo impegno, passione e rispetto.
È una produzione targata Germaica Italia ed i produttori sono Leander “Pionear” Topp” e (che ha fatto anche i cori) e Fabi ‚Ear To The Streetz‘ Benz. Il riddim si chiama “Bridge Riddim” ed è stato suonato dalla band “The Germaicans”.
Django Concerti collaborerà per la promozione e divulgazione del brano. Il disegno in copertina è dell’artista Sara Cherubino.
Si vuole ricordare che tutti i proventi verranno devoluti in beneficenza a supporto di chi è stato coinvolto direttamente con la tragedia del crollo del Ponte Morandi di Genova. BAUSA und FABI BENZ kennen sich schon einige ganze Weile… Noch weit vor seinem Durchbruch, feierte der heutige Nummer-1-Rapper auf den legendären Reggae-Bash-Parties im Stuttgarter Zollamt. Später erinnerte sich BAUSA vermutlich an die guten Zeiten, die er auf diesen Veranstaltungen hatte, denn Teile für das Video zu seinem Song „Stripperin“ drehte er auf FABI BENZ‘ Sim Simma Party in der Stuttgarter Corso Bar.
