Germaica Digital presents a label compilation with thematical recordings from it’s 20 years of label history. 15 songs about all aspects of whatever you call it, weed, marihuana, herb, ganja.

The line up boasts everything that made the label the European frontrunner when it comes to Dancehall and Reggae music, top class Jamaican Artistes like Vybz Kartel, Ward 21, Bugle ft. Shaggy or Mr. Vegas meet some of Europe’s finest like Ras Luta from Poland or Andalusian crooner Shabu.

BOMBOKLAATÓWKA was „invented“ as an imaginary drink at the incredible release party for the QUESTION? RIDDIM at „Dancehall Masak-Rah“ – the best Dance in Eastern Europe. When PIONEAR premiering POLISH VODKA telling the people to get some „Żubrówka“, „Wyborowa“, „Wisniówka“,  Cytrnówka and … get some „Bloodklaatówka“… A verbal forward turned into the idea by MALIK from SINGLE DREAD SOUND (Węgorzewo/Mazury) to do a song… And here we go with the recipe for the drink that „make your brain melt“. Of course with the trade mark ironic lyrics of RYSIEK but not missing the advise of THE DOCTOR to not exaggerate the drinking. This one is destined to be a next hit for DR. RING DING. Gegründet im November 2002, ist das Soundsystem UPLIFTMENT INTERNATIONAL rasch zu einem der drei führenden Sounds der sächsischen Dancehall-Szene avanciert. Sound Boss DJ FLO und DIDI RANKS haben innerhalb der letzten 2 Jahre gemeinsam mit Deutschlands Dancehall Entrepreneur und GERMAICA Frontrunner PIONEAR einen brandneuen Dance als monatliche Veranstaltung für die Fans der Jamaican Bass Music etabliert, das „Fly High!“. Nach Leipzig wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem „N’dorphin Club“ das „Fly High!“ nun regelmäßig die zweite deutsche Stadt besuchen: Chemnitz!

Der Hostsound UPLIFTMENT INT’L wird heute seine erste eigene Produktion den „Question? Riddim“ vorstellen. In wahrer internationaler Zusammenarbeit mit DREADSQUAD aus dem polnischen Łódź, die das blitzsaubere Instrumental lieferten, enstand ein Re-Lick des klassischen „Answer“ Riddims. Ein besonders hitverdächtiger Beitrag stammt aus dem österreichischen Kärnten – „Euros“ von TOM HYPE, der der erste Artist auf der neuen GERMAICA AUSTRIA Dependance ist und zur Feier der Veröffentlichung des „Question? Riddim“ als Live-Gast zum ersten Mal überhaupt in Chemnitz performen wird.
