Später erinnerte sich BAUSA vermutlich an die guten Zeiten, die er auf diesen Veranstaltungen hatte, denn Teile für das Video zu seinem Song „Stripperin“ drehte er auf FABI BENZ‘ Sim Simma Party in der Stuttgarter Corso Bar.

MARCY CHIN – member of WARD 21’s BADA BADA GANG – this passed summer made a lasting impression on the European massive on Part II of WARD 21’s “Still Disturbed Tour” on festivals and clubs alike. Showing her talent and skills MARCY met DJ WICKED-A a young and promising Selector from Italy, who is – together with DJ MAD KID – the resident of Bologna’s renowned Dancehall & Reggae regular “Downton Bash”.
The idea of a joint mixtape was born, when MARCY CHIN was listening to a set of DJ WICKED-A before the “Still Disturbed” show in Catanzaro. WICKED-A’s class A juggling plus MARCY CHIN’s hardcore rhymes plus collaborations with the likes of TIMBERLEE and WARD 21 make “The Baddest MC” a very entertaining mix from the first to the last minute.
Here we go with the second of 4 more singles on the UPLIFTMENT INT’L/DREADSQUAD produced QUESTION? RIDDIM. Everybody – especially in Poland – remembers DR. RING DINGs 2011 smash hit POLISH VODKA and its video which was shot in Warsaw… Like for Hawkey the QUESTION? RIDDIM fits perfectly for “The one & only real German Dancehall veteran”. And it fits that much that he voiced a self-counteraction to POLISH VODKA!
BOMBOKLAATÓWKA was “invented” as an imaginary drink at the incredible release party for the QUESTION? RIDDIM at “Dancehall Masak-Rah” – the best Dance in Eastern Europe. When PIONEAR premiering POLISH VODKA telling the people to get some “Żubrówka”, “Wyborowa”, “Wisniówka”, Cytrnówka and … get some “Bloodklaatówka”… A verbal forward turned into the idea by MALIK from SINGLE DREAD SOUND (Węgorzewo/Mazury) to do a song… And here we go with the recipe for the drink that “make your brain melt”. Of course with the trade mark ironic lyrics of RYSIEK but not missing the advise of THE DOCTOR to not exaggerate the drinking. This one is destined to be a next hit for DR. RING DING. Some people were complaining that they can’t watch SHABUs “Por siempre y una tarde” from some locations outside of Spain. So for all aficionados here’s the link for the 3rd single of his debut album “La cura” (GERMAICA IBERIA/BOA) which will be released today in his home country. The instrumental was provided by SUPERSONICs own JR. BLENDER and the vocals produced by PIONEAR aka PIONERO at the studio of BIG HOZONE who was the producer of SHABUs already legendary street tape “Luz verde”.
The clip was directed by JUHO LOZANO and shot at locations of the Eastern Costa del Sol (between Málaga and Maro) – the artist’s home turf. This wonderful video is a significant prove of the potential of the Málagüenian Reggae scene! So enjoy…

GERMAICA IBERIA está de vuelta con una nueva referencia del más elegante Reggae bajo el brazo. Tras la indudable buena acogida de sus dos anteriores referencias, este sello sigue apostando por la música jamaicana facturada en Málaga. En esta ocasión, hablamos del álbum debut de LITTLE PEPE: “De Málaga hacia el mundo”, un disco muy completo que demuestra una vez más la versatilidad de este artista Malagüeño.
El titulo alude al sentido y espíritu internacional que late en este trabajo, con colaboraciones que cruzan fronteras y continentes. Ello da como resultado una mezcla exquisita que deviene una gran riqueza musical, del Reggae, Roots al Hip Hop, pasando por el Dancehall, con incluso algunos matices electrónicos.
Este trabajo marcará un punto de inflexión en la escena Reggae nacional, ya que la frescura musical que desprende atrapa desde el primer hasta el último tema. Su primer sencillo es “A trabajar”, una producción noruega de Basmo Family en la que LITTLE PEPE explica desde lo más hondo de su ser la cruda realidad del mundo de la musica.
La vertiente más Dancehall del disco cruza 3 de los 5 continentes. Así, desde Europa, llega el inglés General Levy (UK) en “Baila Cruel” y el francés Daddy Mory en “Make Money”. Desde África, concretamente desde Gambia, llega Rebellion The Recaller en “Tiempos Duros” y desde América… Daddy Banton en “A los manes del control” representando Costa Rica.
Parte del éxito de estos tracks se debe a las talentosas producciones de Bassrunner (Austria), que aporta la fuerza instrumental. Por su parte, el el groove más electrónico viene de la mano de Baymont Bross en “Baila Cruel”.
El Hip Hop se queda mayoritariamente en tierras andaluzas de la mano de dos pesos pesados de la escena: Jefe de la M y Gordomaster (Triple X) en el himno “More Fyah”, además de Juho y sus compañeros de viaje Pinnacle Rockers en “Push” y Dj Pera en las producciones y los scractches de “Producto del Barrio” o “El guiso”. El tema que representa el Hip Hop en estado puro viene directamente de Detroit de la mano de Black Milk, uno de los nombres más relevantes en las listas norteamericanas, con dos versiones de “Champion Sound”: diferentes aromas de la mano de dos grandes productores alemanes: Soulforce desde Krefeld y D-Fekt/Pionear desde Leipzig.
El Reggae Roots tiene marca austriaca gracias a la gran aportación de la banda House of Riddim, con dos producciones que enamorarán a los amantes de los sonidos más Reggae con “Descansen en Paz” y “Rising Up” en colaboración con New Kingston (banda y trío vocal de New York, conocidos por ser la banda de Collie Buddz aunque en esta vez su aportación sea como vocalistas). Desde Alemania llega Jr Blender y Silly Walks, quienes ponen su granito de arena en el éxito “Lo tengo que dar”. Sin olvidar que también en nuestro país se hace buen Roots, muestra de ello son las producciones de Ras Kuko en “Quiere lo tuyo” y “Sigue tu vida”, asi como Black Akadehmy en “Que no te enteras”.

First they participated in the “senior” category of the reknowned “Split” festival and since then their festival song “Marin” is getting a very positive feedback on all media in Croatia. Then it was an extensive press and promotion campaign for the release of their debut album “Food Love Music” for Croatia and Ex-Yugoslavia, currently holding the No.38 position on the Croatia Album Charts. “Moje plave oči” the first single of the album is still rising on the single charts and at the moment ranked no.11… Finally LAS BALKANIERAS were invited to Croatia’s biggest Reggae & Dub festival “Seasplash” in Pula on the Istria peninsula where they delivered a fine show which was well received by the audience.
Now it’s the first European approach for the group with the new single “What’s cooking?” introducing LAS BALKANIERAS as “Trio Culinare” to the European audience. LAS BALKANIERAS su tri mlade šinjorine, talentirano-motivirane u svakom muzičkom, kao i kuhinjskom pogledu i stilu. Uživaju u kuhanju, izmjeni recepata kao i u muzici, a prava delikatesa im je biti na bini, plesati, pjevati, skakati, zabavljati publiku na njihov “mediteran-balkanjero-đir”, sa dodatkom parodije i crnog humora.
Verzije pjesama postoje na četiri jezika: njemački, engleski, hrvatsko-dalmatinsko-bosanski, pa čak i ruski. Šta znači da se balkanjerosice dobro snalaze po mediteranskom-balkanskom terenu, kao i po “bilome svitu“. Njihov moto je: „sve se može globazirat, sve je import-export baza“. Svugdje se osjećaju kao kod kuće jer su “globalni import-export muzičari”…
Njihova muzika je jedna velika “bevanda”, tj. mix Turbo-Trash-Electro-Folk-Pop-a sa začinom reggae, ska i melosa, mada im ni moderniji ritmovi elektronske produkcije nisu strani. Das multinationale Damentrio mit Residenz in Düsseldorf, wird mittlerweile als heißester Newcomer auf dem Balkan gehandelt, hat es doch gerade einen Majordeal bei CROATIA RECORDS – dem ehemaligen JUGOTON – eintüten können. Dies ist ein Novum für einen Act mit Dancehall Background in Ex-Jugoslawien. Und so setzt die lokale Szene große Hoffnungen in LAS BALKANIERAS…
Alles begann mit dem Überraschungssieg 2009 auf dem renommierten “Split-Festival” in der Newcomer-Kategorie… Dies gelang mit ihrem ersten überhaupt aufgenommen Song “Ciribiribella” auf dem GERMAICA-Klassiker-Riddim “Messer Banzani”. JODDSKI har etter deltakelsen i Det Store Korslaget, hvor han kom til semifinalen, en haug med internetthits og forrykende liveshows med bandet sitt endelig sluppet sitt debutalbum som soloartist. “Krig & Kjærlighet” gikk rett inn på første plass på iTunes og nådde opp på åttende plass på Norges offisielle albumliste. Albumet har fått stort sett strålende kritikker, heriblandt 5/6 i et halvt dusin av landets største aviser. Plata er spilt inn i Oslo og i GERMAICA HQ i Leipzig, og inneholder riddims fra folk som PHARFAR (DK), TOMMY TEE (NO), BOB ONE (PL) og Breakmechanix (SE).

After his participation in TV-show “Battle of the Choirs”, where he reached the semi-finals, a ton of internetthits and blazing shows with his new live band, JODDSKI has now finally released his debut soloalbum. “Krig & Kjærlighet” went straight to No.1 on Norwegian iTunes, and reached as high as No.8 on the official album chart. The album has received magnificent reviews, amongst these 5/6 in half a dozen of the countrys biggest newspapers. “Krig & Kjærlighet” is recorded in Oslo and in the GERMAICA HQ in Leipzig/Saxony, and contains riddims from producers like PHARFAR (DK), TOMMY TEE (NO), BOB ONE (PL), or BREAKMECHANIX (SE).
At the moment, JODDSKI is getting ready to go on tour with his band, and he is already confrimed for a number of prestigeous festivals this summer.
