Despues de la buena acogida que tuvo el primero release de GERMAICA IBERIA (Little Pepe & Shabu – “Compartiendo” 2010), el sello esta de vuelta en este 2011 con su segunda referencia.

Ahora presentamos una producción de BLACK AKADEHMY RECORDS, el “Righteousness Riddim”, 2º y nuevo proyecto, de esta discográfica catalana, que esta vez colaboran con la filial iberica de GERMAICA DIGITAL para editar digitalmente este nuevo one riddim. “Righteousness Riddim”, que en castellano significa “la rectitud riddim”, esta inspirado en el Rub-A-Dub de los ‘80 con una melodía pegadiza y una percusiones a tono “Nyahbingi”. El nombre del riddim fue también un guiño al legendario sello Jamaicano “Exterminator”, quien fue uno de los pioneros en promocionar el “New Roots Reggae”. Los artistas elegidos en esta serie han sabido hacer resurgir el estilo Toaster y SingJay de la época.

En este disco, podemos encontrar artistas consagrados de nuestro país como son SHABU, LITTLE PEPE o ZURI, así como artistas internacionales como: REBELLION THE RECALLER, MANDINGO WARRIOR o CLAPPA PRIEST. Sin duda alguna, estamos delante de un nuevo album que demuestra el buen estado de salud que goza el Reggae en nuestro país. Canciones cantadas con humildad y serenidad para tratar los temas más nobles.

Neueste Produktionen, aber auch alle Klassiker aus mittlerweile 50 Jahren Dancehallhistorie, werden für ein Partyerlebnis erster Klasse in der neuen “Fly High!” Location sorgen…

HIGHER LEVEL sind der Top-Sound aus dem Saarland und haben mit der „Jamaican Lounge“ ein beliebtes monatliches Regular in Saarbrücken etabliert, auf dem nationale, wie internationale Spitzen-Sounds zu Gast sind. Das Fly High! „Grand Opening“ im September zeigte deutlich, daß Leipzig bereit ist, für einen Dance, der der Global Bass Music eine hochwertige Plattform bietet. 900 begeisterte Besucher, die im Durchlauf gezählt wurden, sehr viel neues und junges Publikum, daß zu den aktuellsten Tracks aus London, Rio, Kingston, New York und Kapstadt feierte. Es ist also definitiv Platz für eine Party jenseits von Mainstream und Kellerklub!

Werk II Team und Germaica Digital Crew, die Präsentatoren der Show möchten dem guten Start unmittelbar eine Neuerung für die Clublandschaft Leipzigs folgen lassen. Ab sofort wird es vor dem Fly High! mit dem „Junior High!“ einen Dance geben, der speziell für die jungen Fans der Urban Music bestimmt ist. Hip Hop, Dancehall und R’n’B stehen auf dem Programm, wenn von 21.00 – 24.00 Uhr von nun ab alle 16- bis 18-jährigen zum fairen Preis in die Welt der Beats und, DJs reinschnuppern können (am Einlaß muß hierzu lediglich der Ausweis deponiert werden, der dort um Mitternacht, beim Verlassen der Halle D wieder abgeholt werden kann).

Ab 00.00 Uhr steht dann der erste reguläre “Global Bass Flight” in der Halle D mit einem Tropical Special auf dem Plan. Leipzigs No.1 Sound UPLIFTMENT INT’L – der 2002 als reines Dancehall Outlet startete und inzwischen das komplette Spektrum der urbanen Bassmusik präsentiert – begrüßt dazu ein Hamburger Bassschwergewicht beim “Fly High!”.

BONGO DISCO ist die neuartige Kombination von afrikanischen und karibischen Rythmen mit grosstädtischer Ravekultur. Es werden Sounds wie Coupé Decalé, Afro Funky, Ghetto Bass, Electro Cumbia, Soca und andere Stile im Mix miteinander verbunden und mit Soundeffekten bearbeitet, so daß eine neue, eigenständige globale Tanzmusik entsteht: “Hi Tech Tropical”!

Gegründet wurde das Projekt 2006 von Oliver Schrader, der seit 1991 mit dem Reggaesoundsystem SILLY WALKS zu den Top DJs seiner Zunft gehört und mit der BONGO DISCO ein neues Kapitel aufgeschlagen hat. Seit 2009 gibt es in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten JR. BLENDER (SO SHIFTY/SUPERSONIC) eigene Remix Produktionen, u.a. von JAN DELAY, QQ oder CAPLETON und aktuell einen Beitrag auf „Ayobaness!“, der Südafrika–House Compilation des Labels Out Here Records aus München.

Es heißt also “Fasten your seat belts” und Willkommen zum ersten “Tropical Special” der “Fly High!” Reihe, die ab sofort an jedem 2. Freitag des Monats in der Halle D zu Gast sein wird. Три прекрасные девушки из России, Хорватии и Боснии встретились в Дюссельдорфе, поняли, что они могут «делать хиты, петь, танцевать, готовить, стирать и мыть полы», решили попробовать реализовать все эти свои способности. Для этого они подружились с известным дансхолл-продюсером по имени PIONIR и быстро записали несколько треков и клипов; а также выступили с импровизированным концертом на большом фестивале в Хорватии, после чего стали там дико популярны. Осенью у них выходит первый альбом под названием Food Love Music. Девушки, поющие как минимум на четырых языках (включая русский), называют свой стиль турбо-электро-поп-фолк или просто трэш-поп-дансхолл – и оправдывают это самоопределение не только музыкой, но и своим поведением на сцене.

It was a busy summer for the three “Queens of Balkan Dancehall”. First they participated in the “senior” category of the reknowned “Split” festival and since then their festival song “Marin” is getting a very positive feedback on all media in Croatia. Then it was an extensive press and promotion campaign for the release of their debut album “Food Love Music” for Croatia and Ex-Yugoslavia, currently holding the No.38 position on the Croatia Album Charts. “Moje plave oči” the first single of the album is still rising on the single charts and at the moment ranked no.11… Finally LAS BALKANIERAS were invited to Croatia’s biggest Reggae & Dub festival “Seasplash” in Pula on the Istria peninsula where they delivered a fine show which was well received by the audience.

Now it’s the first European approach for the group with the new single “What’s cooking?” introducing LAS BALKANIERAS as “Trio Culinare” to the European audience. The single is released on the GERMAICA BALKANS label of their producer PIONEAR and distributed by mp3.soundquake.com. Shows in Germany, Holland and Russia follow this release…

Dicho single, una producción de DJ PERA, forma parte del ultimo trabajo promocional de JUHO “Soldier, editado por KIWI RECORDS. Bajo la dirección de GHARUDA y KIWI RECORDS, este video esta pegando duro en Youtube con la friolera cifra de mas de 50.000 visitas en tan solo 3 días, demostrando otra vez el feedback que SHABU esta recibiendo por parte de sus fans después de la exitosa salida de su split album “Compartiendo” junto a su compañero de viaje LITTLE PEPE. Nach zwei Jahren und zwanzig Shows, war es ein Ausstand nach Maß… Zuerst das mittelgermaikanische Soundtreffen mit 6 Gastsounds und -selectoren und anschließend das dritte “Fly High! Xtra!!” mit dem Jamaican Top Artiste KONSHENS… Nachdem sich die UPLIFTMENT INT’L Crew mit diesen außerordentlichen Shows aus der zweiten “Fly High!” Saison verabschiedet hat, laufen die Planungen für die dritte bereits auf vollen Touren und es stehen einige Neuerungen an…

Mit dem liebevoll “Kartoffelkeller” genannten “Frühauf” verabschiedet man sich von der Undergroundlocation der ersten zwei Jahre und zieht in die nagelneue “Halle D” des “Werk II” in Connewitz um. Aber auch inhaltlich stehen die Zeichen auf Veränderung, hat doch die Publikumsresonanz, besonders auf DJ FLOs letzten Mix “Skydiving” gezeigt, daß Leipzig musikalischer Vielfalt positiv gegenüber steht.

Und so wird das bekannte “Fly High!”-Programm über Dancehall, Reggae, Hip Hop & R’n’B hinaus von nun an noch globaler. Die gesamte Bandbreite der Urban Bass Music soll es von nun an in der “Halle D” geben, und mit Hilfe monatlicher Specials präsentiert werden.

Zum Auftakt wird das besonders deutlich. Denn wenn am 10.9. die neue Location eingeweiht wird, dann mit einer von Werk II und GERMAICA DIGITAL präsentierten eintrittsfreien Grand Opening Party, die das komplette musikalische Spektrum der zukünftigen Dances zeigt. Neben dem Gastgeber UPLIFTMENT INT’L, der sein klassisches Dancehall Set heute mit Balkan Beats und Ghetto Tech erweitert, geht der Hamburger BIGGA T ins Rennen, Produzent des hochgelobten Remix-Teams SO SHIFTY. Er wird die momentan angesagten Tracks in Sachen “Tropical” an den Start bringen. Als ehemaliger Chefselector des Schwergewichtssound SOUND QUAKE bürgt er für Mixing Skills der Xtra-Klasse. “IT’S YOURS” Begründer BOOGA wird mit einem Mix aus Bassline, Fidget und UK Funky antreten, mit dem er diverse Leipziger Partyreihen wie “Rave Royal”, oder “Pasha’s Pleasure” rockt. Lidija, Maja i Iva, članice tria Las Balkanieras, nisu dugo čekale na svoj album prvijenac. Nakon samo godinu rada otkako su se odlučile na zajednički projekt izašao je njihov debitantski album Food Love Music.
Njihovu glazbu teško je definirati jednom rječju jer se radi o spoju različitih stilova koje same opisuju kao turbo-trash-electro-folk-pop sa začinom reggae-a, ska i melosa. Das 20. FLY HIGH! ist nicht nur das Finale der zweiten Saison des UPLIFTMENT INT’L Dances, sondern auch ein regelrechtes “Mittelgermaica” Soundtreffen mit 6 Gastsounds- und Selectors…

Neben den Reudnitzer Räubern sind dabei: HIGH POWER STATION aus Görlitz, Selectress MAYAMA aus Leipzig, SOULFOOD SOUND aus Quedlinburg, EXODUS SOUND MOVEMENT aus Leipzig, DJ SENSAY aus Halle/S. und der unverwüstliche SELECTAH SPINBACK aus Leipzig, die sich im 30-Minuten-Takt abwechseln werden.

LAS BALKANIERAS su tri mlade šinjorine, talentirano-motivirane u svakom muzičkom, kao i kuhinjskom pogledu i stilu. Uživaju u kuhanju, izmjeni recepata kao i u muzici, a prava delikatesa im je biti na bini, plesati, pjevati, skakati, zabavljati publiku na njihov “mediteran-balkanjero-đir”, sa dodatkom parodije i crnog humora.

Verzije pjesama postoje na četiri jezika: njemački, engleski, hrvatsko-dalmatinsko-bosanski, pa čak i ruski. Šta znači da se balkanjerosice dobro snalaze po mediteranskom-balkanskom terenu, kao i po “bilome svitu“. Njihov moto je: „sve se može globazirat, sve je import-export baza“. Leipzig = Lipsk? Na klar! Zumindest heute Nacht, wenn LAS BALKANIERAS ihre Balkantour in der Westpolnischen Metropole aka LPZ starten…

Das multinationale Damentrio mit Residenz in Düsseldorf, wird mittlerweile als heißester Newcomer auf dem Balkan gehandelt, hat es doch gerade einen Majordeal bei CROATIA RECORDS – dem ehemaligen JUGOTON – eintüten können. Dies ist ein Novum für einen Act mit Dancehall Background in Ex-Jugoslawien. Und so setzt die lokale Szene große Hoffnungen in LAS BALKANIERAS…

Alles begann mit dem Überraschungssieg 2009 auf dem renommierten “Split-Festival” in der Newcomer-Kategorie… Dies gelang mit ihrem ersten überhaupt aufgenommen Song “Ciribiribella” auf dem GERMAICA-Klassiker-Riddim “Messer Banzani”. GERMAICAs najmlađe otkriće, LAS BALKANIERAS, upravo su potpisale ugovor za njihov prvi album koji će izaći na ljeto 2010. To je dalamtinsko-bosanski-ruski trio, koji svojom orginalno miješavinom, muzičkom bevandom “Balkan Trash Popa”, kako ga cure rado nazivaju, nešto između Dancehalla-Reggae-Dubstepa ili Ska sa velikom porcijom Balkan sounda, okupiraju i bombadiraju, na pozitivan način, sve vrste bina bivše Juge, tj. Balkana kao u isto vrijeme i Evropu, na taj njihov parodičan humoristički način. Dobile su već sada ime, najorginalnijeg newcomer benda Hrvastke, jer su sa svojim prvim nastupom na Splitskom festivalu, neočekivano dobile nagradu za najbolje debitantice. Poslije toga su slijedili “Tribute to DINO DVORNIK“, a i ostali veći koncerti, na kojima su bili i više od 2000 ljudi…

Kao i manji klubski eventi, fešte, gage, jer LAS BALKANIERosicama nije vazno gdje se nastupa, glavno je da ih ljudi prihvaćaju takve kakve su i zabavljaju se njihovim neobičnim orginalnim nastupima i muzikom. Osim toga, kao i na Mediteranskom-Balkanu, cure su jako dobro prihvaćene i u bijelome svijetu, kako oni nazivaju Evropu. Za novu 2010 bile su gosti u Parizu, a u Austriji, Njemačkoj, su također česti gosti.

Za njihov prvi album su se njihov team GERMAICA BALKANs i DANIJELA DVORNIK, dogovorili za suradnju sa CROATIA RECORDS, bivši JUGOTON, jer su imali, po njihovom mišljenju, najvise kapaciteta za takav jedan projekt kao šta su LAS BALKANIERAS. JUGOTON je jedan od najstarijih i najvećih izdavačkih kuća bivše Jugoslavije.

MOJE PLAVE OčI, je prvi singel sa kojim ce izaći, već ovoga proljeća,a uz to postoje verzije na njemačkom kao i na pitčin-balkan-engleskom, kao i također tri verzije spota. Za promociju tog spota, organizirana je jedna mini- turneja, u četvrtom mijesecu, koja ce LBS `provozati` kroz Sloveniju, Hrvatsku kao Bosnu i Hercegovinu.

Postoji još jedna stvar, jedan argument, koji LAS BALKANIERAS veoma rado isitiču, a to je nada lokalnih izvođača scene u posao Balkanierosica jer su prvi bend kod CROATIA RECORDS kod kojeg su korjeni u balkanskom Reggae-Dancehall-u. Naravno da će ih se ovoga ljeta moći vidjeti i na Reggae “Seasplash” festivalu u Puli, najvećem Reggae Festivalu na Jadranu.

JODDSKI har etter deltakelsen i Det Store Korslaget, hvor han kom til semifinalen, en haug med internetthits og forrykende liveshows med bandet sitt endelig sluppet sitt debutalbum som soloartist. “Krig & Kjærlighet” gikk rett inn på første plass på iTunes og nådde opp på åttende plass på Norges offisielle albumliste. Albumet har fått stort sett strålende kritikker, heriblandt 5/6 i et halvt dusin av landets største aviser. Plata er spilt inn i Oslo og i GERMAICA HQ i Leipzig, og inneholder riddims fra folk som PHARFAR (DK), TOMMY TEE (NO), BOB ONE (PL) og Breakmechanix (SE).

After his participation in TV-show “Battle of the Choirs”, where he reached the semi-finals, a ton of internetthits and blazing shows with his new live band, JODDSKI has now finally released his debut soloalbum. “Krig & Kjærlighet” went straight to No.1 on Norwegian iTunes, and reached as high as No.8 on the official album chart. The album has received magnificent reviews, amongst these 5/6 in half a dozen of the countrys biggest newspapers. “Krig & Kjærlighet” is recorded in Oslo and in the GERMAICA HQ in Leipzig/Saxony, and contains riddims from producers like PHARFAR (DK), TOMMY TEE (NO), BOB ONE (PL), or BREAKMECHANIX (SE).

At the moment, JODDSKI is getting ready to go on tour with his band, and he is already confrimed for a number of prestigeous festivals this summer.
